7-Cups Sweet
As name indicates it requires just 7 cups of items.
Ingredients
1. Besan - 1 cup
2. Sugar - 3 cups
3. Ghee / Dhalda - 1 cup
4. Milk - 1 cup
5. Grated fresh coconut - 1 cup
6. Dry fruits (Cashew nuts, almond and raisin) - Fried in ghee - 5 tsp
Method :
1. Fry the besan for 2 -3 min in a pan with 2 - 3 tsp of ghee . do not fry too much just 3 min frying is good enough
2. Take a heavy bottomed Cooking Bowl ( Bigger one will be better ) add milk to it once it starts to boil add sugar to it and keep on Stirring once sugar is dissolved add grated coconut and stir well then add ¾ cup of ghee / dhalda and besan and keep string it after 3- 4 min add remaining ghee/ dhalda and dry fruits . ( do not stop stirring if you do so it will get burnt ).
3. Keep stirring till it forms like string while stirring ( the mixture will not stick to the vessel at this stage make sure that you take of the mixture at rite point else the ) immediately pour the mixture to the plate greased with ghee and cut it to desired sizes and shapes and place a piece of almond or cashews on each piece. Let it cool for around half an hour. Take out the pieces and serve.
